My name is Olivia and I am currently in ninth grade. I joined ISR when I was three years old, which means I've been there for eleven years! I really like all my classes, but my favorite subjects are French and history. I do my best to be a good student and always try to achieve my goals. When I grow up I want to be a psychiatrist and be able to help others.

Favorite books/genre/author:
My choice in genre is fantasy, young adult fiction, mystery, historical drama and romance. Yes, I googled what was the genre of my favorite books. My favorite books are: Ruby Red trilogy, The Selection series, Red Queen, Shatter Me trilogy and in the near future (I’m still not done with the book), The Siren. By far, my favorite writer is Kiera Cass. I just love the way she writes and how original her ideas are! The only book written by her that I didn’t like was The Heir. Most of my friends that have read The Selection love that book, but I just feel that she was just trying to extend the story.
Something I HATE about (some) book series:
Just imagine: You’re reading your book and enjoying every single word, you can’t stop reading! A couple of days later, you find out that the second book comes out in two months. You could not be happier! The day has arrived… “The Release date”. You go to all the book stores in Mexico and they tell you that you need to wait THREE MORE WEEKS. At this point you are trying to ask nicely (bribe) every single worker at the store to give you the book. You finally remember that you can get it in your kindle! You download the book, but it’s NOT working. You check your internet connection… IT’S NOT WORKING. You call Axtel, wait 1,879,324 hours for someone to answer and tell you to disconnect the device and connect it again. After waiting thirty minutes for the WiFi to actually work, your book is now in your kindle and it’s time to read it. You get to the middle and…NOTHING. You’ve now wasted hours of your life reading the most boring book of known to humanity. You need to finish it because you want to know how it ends, but every single second feels like an hour. It is so boring that you’re thinking: “If someone told me it was my last day, I would read this book so the day feels like a a hundred years”. The moment you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. You are on the last page of the book, when you see the last sentence “To be continued..”.
Purpose of my blog:

To be honest, the only purpose of my book blog is to get a good grade so I can get into prepa. Obviously I will practice A LOT my reading and writing skills, which will help me have a good grade in my TEC exams, but f it wasn't a school project, I don't think I would create a blog.
My goal:
My goal is to get a four and hopefully enjoy writing. I love reading, but I really don’t like any kind of writing. This could be because I've never written about something that really interests me, but with this blog might be able to change that.
